After receiving a BA in English and Film at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Stephen attended DePaul University for an MFA in Animation. After completing his masters, he started working as an animation director for Kernel Productions.

Besides making his own short animated films, Stephen has worked as a Lead Animator and Rigging Artist for Paper Rad’s Jacob Ciocci. He has freelanced in 2D and 3D productions, as well as illustration. While still in high school, his short film, “The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere”, was a finalist in the Smithsonian Video Contest and since then has gained over 152,000 views on YouTube. It is a favorite among middle school social studies teachers across the United States.
